Microsoft has released 30 questions aligned to ISO/IEC 19770-1 for use by its Enterprise Software Advisors as part of the ESA 2.1 program. This set of add-ons includes these 30 questions with references to the relevant ISO/IEC 19770-1 outcomes and guidance. This allows organizations using the ESA 2.1 questions (a) to answer those questions using the this self-assessment tool, as a convenient way of providing those answers and attaching any relevant documentation; (b) to benefit from the extensive guidance already provided in the self-assessment tool; and (c) to have the option of using the entire ISO/IEC 19770-1 standard for a more extensive gap analysis against baseline best practice.

This download contains both the Work Area and Executive Summary add-ons described below.
IiS Work Area Add-on
This add-on creates a pseudo-outcome at the beginning of the engine which can be used to attach copies of general documentation when it is initially being gathered, to give it a simple place for common reference, e.g. prior to attaching it to specific outcomes where it is relevant. (The same document may be attached to multiple outcomes without duplication.)
IiS Executive Summary Add-on
This add-on creates a pseudo-outcome at the beginning of the engine which can be used to write an executive summary about the results of a self-assessment (or external assessment) exercise. This type of capability is particularly useful with a printed version of all Outcomes/Guidance/Results (generated from the ''Reporting'' section) for reporting and review purposes.
