Annual Report 2008 (27 January 2008)
This report has been prepared for the board and members of Investors in Software (IiS) to record its key achievements since its AGM of January 2007. The marketplace for software asset management (SAM) services has continued to mature and grow during the past 12 months and we continue to see direct and beneficial consequences to software authors, practitioners and customers through the work of IiS. A demonstration of this was a recent Computer Weekly survey of 450 UK IT Directors where 38% cited SAM tool implementation as their top priority in 2007. The year saw further accomplishment and milestones from IiS with the addition of new members and new directors.
